Trains on the Indian Railways network

Every train with a scheduled stop list has a page at /train/<number> — 7,497 of them, built from 1,55,569 timetable stops across 8,118 stations. Each page lists the whole route in order: arrival and departure times, how long the train stands at each stop, which day of the run the stop falls on, and how far it is from the origin.

Trains with the most stops

The services that call most often. These are the ones where boarding a few stations earlier, or booking through to a later stop, has the most options to work with.

Looking up a train by number

Every train page is at /train/<number> — for example /train/12951. These pages carry the timetable only. To find out whether a berth is actually available on a date, and what to do when it is not, search a journey. You can also browse by route or by station.

Important

RailRoute is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Indian Railways, IRCTC, or any Government of India entity. Train names and station codes are used for identification only.

RailRoute does not sell tickets and never takes a payment. Fares are estimates and seat availability changes continuously; the exact fare and the actual booking are confirmed on IRCTC.
